Zurichsee - sunrise

Rathaus and Limmat, Zürich

Contrary to Cergie I have no remarks to make ... I can only make compliments for this one! :-)

Look at all those heads (???) bobbing in the water.

I would like to see a colour version for comparison.

Sunrise at 6:17pm - thought that only happened in Port Talbot!

I always enjoy the photographs on this blog. They are ALL very, very good. But this one is EXTRA SPECIAL There is something .... not only in the light, but also in the composition, that makes it so. I love it, Could you send me a 6' X 4' print for my lounge wall please? Oh yeah, framed if possible. That's if it's not too much trouble!

@cergie - thanks for the comments as always. This shot is uncropped, although I guess by conventional norms the composition is a bit unbalanced. I don't really consciously take into account these things when I frame shots - I just kind of move the camera about until something in my brain goes "click"
