Solothurn

Solothurn was one of the stops on my recent trip.

It's a nice town on the Aare, a mixture of medieval and Baroque architecture. When I arrived it was market day, and this gave it an even more medieval feel with people and stalls clustered at the feet of the older buildings. So I did this photo in a kind of medieval postcard style......

okay.
so i read what you said over at sean's.
So...what is your reasoning for putting a title to your photos?
(that isn't meant to sound confrontational btw - I just wanna hear what your brain thinks)

ff - first of all I'm really pleased that someone thinks that anything I do has a rationale behind it... As for captions, I suppose I like to take photos that don't need a caption to explain anything - but I like to note the place and event if any. Of course a photo caption and a blog post title can be different things
