Completely by accident I've been firing the G11's flash in the wash hand basin. Quite interesting lighting results.

throw in a bit of knob twiddling....

Actually the first one had some knob twiddling as well....

L'appareil a apporté sa petite note de magie mais en reprenant la photo tu n'as pas obtenu le cadrage que tu avais toi-même apporté à la première photo. La deuxième n'avait donc aucune chance au concours des Miss photos macro triviales 2009, vous vous êtes mis à deux pour donner toutes ses chances à la première

I was about to say I preferred the first one - without the twiddling - and then read there was some twiddling there too. Here's to twiddles...

I would like the advice from an expert: Should I change my G7, which still works, and go for the G11? It has a wider angle, but less focus I believe.
