4:3, Except that the focus drops off in the background. Hmmm, this isn't an iPhone, no way. Oh look, exif too.

I'm trying to convince myself I need to take the Bronny this week, even though I haven't processed the last lot.

It's curious, a lot of my recent images have been cropped, and just happen to come out at about 4x5 or even squarish. I've always preferred a square image for compositional reasons.

(NB 300mm Zuiko on the EOS5, so yes there is exif info, but not for the lens!)

Tu ne pourrais pas trouver le moyen de prendre des images par tranches, qui seraient donc en relief comme l'imagerie médicale et tu pourrais ainsi retirer la tranche de la poubelle ? Le problème est qu'alors tu retirerais aussi le feuilage au dessus où la lumière est merveilleuse.
Tant pis, une photo c'est un tout et lorsque les poubelles seront encore plus hideuses, celle-ci sera considéré comme une oeuvre d'art ou un témoin muet...

En ce qui concerne le format carré de tes photos.... J'ai vu une exposition de tableaux de Monet à Giverny, de son étang, de paysage, il avait un format rectangulaire se rapprochant non de celui des appareils reflex souvent utilisés pour des paysages > panoramiques, mais un format rectangulaire plus trapu, presque carré ressemblant à celui des compacts. J'aime bien le format de mon canon G10, il permet des photos qui me conviennent sans avoir à les recadrer...

The light on the tree leaves is the photo's best feature me thinks.
And then there's the couple of course, and the very nicely blurred background of houses... the bin really comes last anyway. Don't worry about it.

I agree with you, squarish formats usually work well. Here it works REMARKABLY well.
